The rooms are warm and comfortable accommodation. We have a mixture of single, twin, and double rooms and one family room. Most are en-suite accommodation, but there are also two single rooms which have their own showers and wash hand basins in the rooms with the WC outside the rooms. All have Free view TV, internet access, hot drinks and a good selection of toiletries. Sea view rooms are available. All our double rooms with sea-views have flat screen TVs with Free view and DVD players. We have lots of local information, free maps etc., which has been very popular with our customers. (We don't have a DVD library so if you are booking a sea-view double then please feel free to bring your own DVDs).

We are on the main sea front road in Swansea and the front rooms enjoy splendid views over Swansea Bay with is long sweep on yellow sand. This is however a busy road and so in March 2011 we replaced the existing double glazing with brand new double glazing with special acoustic glass to our 1st floor sea-view rooms. We are very pleased with the results. It has greatly reduced the sound of the traffic outside. We plan to do the same to the 2nd floor within the next 12 months (these still ordinary double glazing at the moment). |
As far as we are aware we are the only Hotel or guest house on the sea-font who has these types of windows, but we want to ensure that our customers get the best possible nights sleep and fully enjoy their stay with us.
We especially welcome contractors, couples and families. We can provide a travel cot and high chair at no extra charge. We can cater for one-night stays through to several months contract. You will receive a warm welcome at the Beachcomber! We are well known for both our warm welcome and floral displays. In fact we have received awards for both of these.
