Situated on Swansea seafront overlooking Swansea Bay with its long sandy beach stretching almost as far as the eye can see. Half the rooms have sea views. Standard and en-suite rooms available. Ideal for the business traveller and for leisure breaks. 24 hour access after initial check in. Free public car park within a 2 minute walk. Overnight parking directly in front of hotel accommodation.

Well situated with local shops, post office and ice cream parlour 5 minutes walk away. A good selection of excellent local restaurants and traditional public houses all within easy walking distance, (1 – 5 Minutes walk). We are a short, 15-minute, walk from Swansea city centre, with its' shops, restaurants, theatres, bars and clubs. We are just 5 Minutes from St Helen’s Rugby/Cricket ground and even closer to the Patti Pavilion and Branwyn Hall were there are often live bands and other events. The Beachcomber is also within walking distance of Swansea university. The guest house is well situated for trips to the Mumbles and the beautiful Gower peninsula. We are also only 40 Minutes drive away from Cardiff along the M4 for the Millennium Stadium. Even with the cold winter weather there is plenty to do. There's shopping of course with a modern town centre and the large indoor market. There is also the National Museum of Wales, Dylan Thomas centre and various galleries. You can even go surfing in doors all year round in the LC2 Water Park.
Swansea boasts some excellent parks and gardens, Olympic size pool, modern town centre, a famous night life and of course the beach. There are many events held throughout the year with something for everyone. For children there is a wide variety of free entertainment and activities held throughout the summer months at the various parks. There is also an outdoor pool and a land train, which will take you right along the seafront to Mumbles.
