Beach opposite the Beachcomber Guest HouseThere is so much to see and do in Swansea and so many attractions in Swansea . In fine weather it will be difficult to drag yourself from the beautiful beaches of the Gower. Gower was the first area in Great Britain to be designated an area of outstanding natural beauty and as soon as you see it you will understand why. It is a favourite location for walkers and families and offers a perfect get a way from city life. With so many beaches and small isolated bays it is usually possible to find a beach to yourself!

You might even be lucky enough to see the filming of Dr Who. These photographs were
taken by a guest who was attending the annual Dr Who convention which is held in Swansea (usually in October). She stayed a couple of extra days to visit the Gower and stumbled across them filming in Rhossili. Russell Davis writer/director of the series lives in Swansea and uses the area for filming.
